Blackwoods was the idea of a local Dutch student who wanted to provide dinner somewhere in the canal belt of Amsterdam where you could get a filling meal in a good time frame, for a good price.

He approached the owners of Greenwoods and pitched them the idea of starting this pop-up dinner venue and as supporters of young talent they agreed and Blackwoods was born.

The perfect place to grab something to eat before the cinema or theatre, or before you hit the bars and clubs, or simply a great spot to hang out with friends and have a chilled evening in a lovely 17th century canal side restaurant.
